Rietveld's Piccolo Splitter PS3000 is a special parking cooler. This so-called split air conditioner is specially designed for applications where mounting on the roof is not possible. That may be because of the structure, think of car transporters for example. Or if you like to keep the skylight for comfort or safety.
This Rietveld parking cooler can be mounted in different places. The most common one is right under the cabin, against the chassis beam. This way, the air conditioner is completely out of sight and forms no obstacle both above and behind the cabin.
The air conditioning unit must then be installed inside the cabin. This can be mounted in various places against the back wall or side wall. This makes the Rietveld air conditioning suitable for various truck models. The disadvantage is that the installation is also less straight forward than with a regular roof parking cooler.
Advantages
- The Piccolo Splitter PS3000 can be mounted under the cabin, making it particularly suitable for crane trucks and car transporters.
- Vehicles that are already at the maximum height without a roof air conditioner can still install this stationary air conditioner.
Disadvantages
- The installation of the Rietveld parking cooler is not as quick and easy as that of the regular roof-mounted parking coolers.
- The cooling power of the Piccolo Splitter is a bit lower than that of the competition.
